Established in 1999 by Lesa Marie, Owner/Hairstylist. Lesa opened Women Of Color, Beauty Salon with a vision of creating a comfortable, friendly, yet professional environment. In October 2024, Women of Color Salon became, Shades of Beauty, powered by women of color.The focus at Shades of Beauty is hair care. We only use the finest quality salon-use only products. All stylists are well educated and provide various services including: Natural hair care, color, cut, thermal texturizer, silk press, twists, wedding/formal hairstyles, wigs, braids and hair extensions.
The Owner, Lesa Marie
I obtained my Cosmetology license in 1996. I knew, from the beginning, I would open my own Beauty Salon. I strive to provide a consistent luxurious experience, from the moment you walk into our doors. As a Hairstylist, I am dedicated to the craft of hair. I specialize in Luxury Hair Extensions and hair care. I am creative so you will love your hair. My skills are in hair straightening, luxury hair extensions and natural hair care. Extensions, I use the traditional weaving method, Micro links, K-Tips, clip-ins, tape-in, as well as other methods. I continue educating myself to remain savvy of the current hair trends.
When receiving service by me, you will do so in my private suite. You will receive one on one service. I use top professional quality tools and products. Your entire experience will be remembered. I am a professional because, my clients are professionals.
